About the role

Are you a procurement professional ready to take the lead in a dynamic and community-focused organisation? We’re looking for an experienced Procurement Coordinator to drive strategic purchasing and deliver value across Council operations.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity based in beautiful Moruya, where you’ll lead Council’s procurement function and play a key role in shaping efficient, transparent, and forward-thinking procurement practices.

The salary for this position is up to $121,510 per annum inclusive of superannuation.

About you

You’re a confident procurement specialist with formal qualifications in procurement and/or contract management, backed by substantial experience navigating the complexities of public sector procurement. You understand the importance of probity, compliance, and financial systems – and you know how to deliver results.

Your application will further demonstrate:

  • Extensive experience in the preparation of tender and contract documentation
  • Experience in successfully undertaking procedural reviews and delivering related outcomes
  • Data-driven decision-making skills to forecast needs and influence outcomes
  • Strong leadership capabilities to guide and support your team
  • Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
