About the Role

Looking for your next big opportunity? We’ve got an exciting Procurement & Logistics Specialist role just for you! In this position, you will be supporting the organisation in maximizing value-for-money, driving innovation, and improving outcomes by coordinating and managing the sourcing of materials and support provided to different business units and categories.

  • Research and evaluate potential vendors.
  • Sourcing comparative quotes, compare and evaluate offers from suppliers and manage the procurement process.
  • Negotiate pricing, quantity and delivery schedules products and delivery information.
  • Maintain good relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain supplier data base and relevant software platforms e.g., Codex, Bassware, E-Attestations
  • Updating vendor details in Codex and set up suppliers/sub-contractors in Codex following the supplier set up process.
  • Maintain and update property portfolio as and when required in various software platforms e.g., Viareport, Nomos One.
  • Maintain and update Bonds in Assura platform, raise relevant bonds to bond providers and provide support to business unit managers and project managers.
  • Initiate spend analysis and possible cost saving initiatives with a focus on Sustainability.
  • Liaising with clothing suppliers, PPE suppliers, staff discounts suppliers and administering staff access to various supplier platforms.
  • Understanding and implementing the company health and safety policy and taking reasonable care of own health and safety and the health and safety of others.
  • Setting a personal example on all matters of health and safety and participate in Perimeter worker participation practices.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Technical qualifications or similar with procurement experience.
  • CIPS qualified or working towards a CIPS qualification preferred but not necessary.
  • Sufficient technical knowledge to liaise with suppliers and service providers.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Relationship management.
  • Possess a high attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal & written communication skills.
  • A solid level of problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to think outside the box, take initiative and be a self-starter.
