Description
Ready to shape the future of procurement?
Are you passionate about negotiations and procurement strategies? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, international setting where collaboration and stakeholder management are key? If you bring drive, ownership, and a structured approach to complex projects, this could be the role for you.
DOF is looking for a Procurement Manager to help build and strengthen our global Procurement Management function. This is your chance to make a real impact, work across international operations, and grow your career in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
About the Role
You will join our Procurement Management function supporting DOF’s global operations. Initially focusing on the Provisions & Consumables category, you will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet and operations receive the highest quality goods and services at the best value, while supporting DOF’s commitment to safety, sustainability, and operational excellence.
This is a unique opportunity to shape procurement processes, build strong cross-functional partnerships, and influence strategy — with your impact visible across our international operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement category strategies for provisions and consumables across DOF’s global operations.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from sourcing and supplier negotiations to contract management and performance follow-up.
- Identify and deliver cost-saving opportunities while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders (marine operations, vessel management, catering, subsea, etc.) to align procurement with operational needs.
- Collaborate with suppliers to drive innovation, continuous improvement, and sustainable sourcing practices.
- Support integration of Maersk Supply Service into DOF by aligning processes, tools, and standards.
- Act as an ambassador for procurement within the organization.
- Occasional travel to suppliers and regional offices may be required.
Who We’re Looking For
- 7+ years’ experience in procurement, category management, contract, or supply chain management — ideally within provisions, consumables, or marine/offshore categories.
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and analytical skills.
- Experience navigating complex international matrix organizations with multiple stakeholders.
- Proven project management skills with a structured and proactive approach.
- Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills; able to influence without authority.
- Strong sense of ownership and comfortable in a changing environment.
- Hands-on mindset — You are not afraid of getting your hands dirty and work manually with processes.
- Collaborative and team-oriented mindset, with the ability to build trust across cultures.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- BSc or MSc in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a similar field.
Why Join DOF?
- Be part of a global company in an exciting phase of transformation and growth.
- Shape how procurement delivers value and supports DOF’s long-term strategy.
- Work in an international environment with talented colleagues across regions and functions.
- Competitive compensation and benefits, flexible working hours, and hybrid work opportunities.
This is a full-time, permanent position based in either Copenhagen, Denmark or Bergen, Norway, reporting to the VP Supply Chain Marine. Should you have any questions regarding the position please reach out to VP Supply Chain Marine, Lars Nielsen on lars.nielsen@dof.com. We will review applications on an ongoing basis so we encourage you to apply sooner rather than later.
