The Opportunity:
We’re on the hunt for a driven Procurement Officer ready to hit the ground running. In this fast-paced role, you’ll oversee the end-to-end procurement and supply of materials for custom precast concrete products across Civilmart and IPA projects. Working closely with internal teams and suppliers, you’ll ensure production runs smoothly, on time, and to specification. From managing material supply and negotiating contracts, to driving cost savings and compliance, this role is ideal for someone who thrives under pressure, solves problems quickly, and takes pride in delivering results that keep major infrastructure projects moving.
What we’re looking for:
- A demonstrated track record supplier and spend management within a construction or manufacturing environment
- A demonstrated understanding of core procurement principles in sourcing, spend management, contracting, negotiation and the impact of the external environment
- A demonstrated ability to identify, plan and deliver savings initiatives
- Previous experience in managing suppliers of construction raw material, mobile equipment, production equipment, packaging or general business services
- A proactive individual who will engage with stakeholders on complex matters of planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and obstacles to success
- Experience with Epicor ERP and ABM (advantageous)
- Proven experience in delivering social and environmental impact initiatives
- A tertiary qualification in Procurement, Contract Management or Supply Chain
- Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (advantageous)
