Shape the Face of Cancer Treatment at Luminate Medical


Luminate Medical is on a mission to change the way we experience cancer care. We design and build products which revolutionise the patient experience of cancer treatment by eliminating the side effects of cancer treatment in a comfortable, portable and effective way.


We are looking for a Product Builder to join our growing manufacturing team. What You Will Do:

  • Support incoming material inspections.
  • Distribute product components to the production line(s) keeping track of consumption and scrap.
  • Work closely with the manufacturing support team to provide feedback on existing work instructions and help develop work instructions for future devices as well as the next generation of current devices.
  • Build devices as per the production build schedule to the highest possible quality and standards. Be proud of your work and the devices you build as they will directly impact someone undergoing chemotherapy treatments.
  • Support builds for R&D prototyping, product verification, clinical trials and commercial use of patient-facing medical devices.
  • Support the manufacturing team in the execution of validations and testing of equipment and processes as required.
  • Continually look for opportunities to optimise the process, improve throughput, yield and reduce scrap.
  • Support equipment preventative maintenance schedules.

Technical Requirements – The Ideal Candidate Must Have:

  • Qualification: Leaving Certificate (Lvl 5+)
  • Experience: 2 years+ experience working within a manufacturing environment.
    • Preferably medical device manufacturing or electro-mechanical device manufacturing.
    • A keen eye with attention to detail.
    • A quality first approach to what you produce
    • Knowledge of GMP.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Use of process equipment such as leak decay testers, heat sealers, vision systems, printers, barcode readers, check weighing etc.
    • Use of process software such as MES, SAP or other similar manufacturing software.
    • Proficient in MS Excel & MS Word.
  • Communication Skills: Fluent spoken and written English.
