As a Product Manager within A&BC, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end development and launch of analytics-powered applications for Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences customers. This role requires a strong understanding of product management, data analytics, healthcare data, and technical acumen. The ideal candidate will excel at bridging technical and business perspectives while working effectively with cross-functional teams to bring analytics-focused products to market. Additionally, as a Product Manager you will support the dissemination of best practices (design thinking, agile methodologies and more) to support A&BC in its product transformation. Responsibilities:
Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and detailed product specifications to communicate feature requirements to data science, engineering and stakeholder teams
Support engineering and data science teams to implement features by clarifying requirements, facilitating technical discussions, and helping technical team members to understand users and the business
Lead the design and development of backend data and analytics pipelines, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance across enterprise systems
Deliver customer-facing BI and analytics solutions, enabling actionable insights and data-driven decision-making for stakeholders
Facilitate problem solving and prioritization across teams, factoring in trade-offs between speed, scalability and quality
Conduct user research and usability testing to inform product decisions and validate hypotheses
Collaborate with designers to create UX flows, wireframes, and product designs
Own technical documentation for analytics products, including data flow diagrams, architecture specifications, and analytics methodologies
Draft, refine, and communicate business cases to key stakeholders to obtain input and buy-in
Work with end-users, stakeholders, and leadership to continuously evolve product roadmaps
Identify and mitigate interdependencies proactively
Champion Agile methodologies and lean practices in product development
Support the establishment and maintenance of release-management, QA testing, product planning and launch frameworks
Develop and execute strategies for proactive user support and issue resolution
Scope and drive improvements to user onboarding and access management systems across the technology stack
This is a hybrid role in our CVS Health office in NYC (1-2 days per week onsite).
Required Qualifications
3+ years’ experience working cross-functionally with data engineering teams delivering analytics insights, particularly in framing and contextualizing healthcare analytics
2+ years’ experience in a Product Management, preferably a Technical Product Management role
- 2+ years' experience using JIRA and/or Confluence (or similar tools), with demonstrated proficiency in Agile environments, balancing support vs. development priorities, managing short‑term versus long‑term roadmaps, and producing high‑quality product documentation (PRDs, business requirements, etc.
- 2+ years' experience communicating technical concepts and implications to business stakeholders and customers and business concepts and requirements to Data Science, Engineering, and other technical teams
- 2+ years' experiencein stakeholder management across business and technical teams
- 1+ year experience with user experience design and testing methodologies
- Healthcare industry experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in or with the pharmaceutical or life sciences industries, with exposure to commercial, clinical, or market access analytics
Familiarity with medical and pharmacy claims data
Understanding of data science concepts, and/or exposure to predictive modeling, machine learning, or advanced statistical techniques applied to healthcare datasets (bonus)
Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated proficiency in SQL
Experience building workflow applications that leverage GenAI
Education
Bachelor’s degree in STEM field (e.g., Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent) required

The typical pay range for this role is:
$111,240.00 - $222,480.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
