Product Owner

Location : Pune

IVD Analytics Domain is a part of Roche Information Services (RIS) organization where we focus on building data and analytics based digital solutions for the Healthcare Industry by leveraging the latest development in science and digital technologies.

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner to join our cross functional agile teams in Pune, India. Do you have an entrepreneurial mindset and knack for distilling business value and goals into roadmaps and refined product backlogs? Join us and let’s build the healthcare of tomorrow together.

In this role you will be responsible for maximizing the value of the product by working with agile teams building digital products and components for data and analytics solutions. You will be the voice of the customer, storyteller, problem-solver and negotiator for the product and the teams involved in building and releasing it.

• Build, maintain and prioritize the Product Backlog by partnering closely with product managers and business teams

• Contribute to building product vision and defining value proposition of features and functionalities

• Collaborate with internal and external partners, stakeholders to analyze needs and align product roadmap to strategic goals

• Help drive a continuous product discovery process designed around learning and experimentation with the help of agile teams.

• Refine product backlog so that agile teams can understand and engage with it for their iteration planning and execution.

• Serve as product ambassador internally and externally, sharing knowledge, answering questions and bringing clarity to teams & stakeholders

• Living and demonstrating agile values and principles, nurturing empiricism among the agile teams.

• Own the “Why” of the product, Influence the “what”, negotiate for the “when” and enable the agile teams to effectively decide the “who” and “how”

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proven expertise as a Product Owner role, with at least 3 years of prior experience in the role in scrum/SAFe setting

• Long-standing experience as an agile practitioner in digital product development, at least 8 years of prior experience in this field

• Excellent presentation skills and ability to influence decisions with logic and clarity in a geographically distributed global team

• Hands-on experience and knowledge of agile tools like JIRA, Aha!, Confluence

• Knowledge of software engineering practices, Product development & delivery processes and Software lifecycle management

• Prior experience of leadership role in the field of Software Engineering / Data Engineering / Analytics & Business Intelligence / Machine Learning, preferably in a healthcare company would be an advantage
