Join our growing team at Nuvia as a Production / Kitting Team Lead! In this key leadership role, you will oversee daily kitting operations, support and guide team members, and ensure production goals are met with accuracy and efficiency.

This is a hands-on leadership position ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment and is passionate about quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement. You will play a critical role in maintaining workflow, training staff, and upholding company standards.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Support

• Lead, train, and support Kitting Associates to ensure productivity and quality standards are consistently met.
• Serve as the first point of contact for team questions, guidance, and issue resolution.
• Promote a positive, collaborative, and accountable team environment.
• Assist new hires with training, certifications and work instructions.

Production & Workflow Oversight

• Coordinate daily kitting activities to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Assign tasks and monitor workflow to ensure efficiency and proper resource utilization.
• Step in as needed to assist with kitting, assembly, and warehouse tasks.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure all kits are assembled accurately and meet company quality standards.
• Partner with the Quality team to identify, report, and quarantine damaged or non-conforming products.
• Enforce adherence to all safety protocols, procedures, and company policies.

Inventory & Reporting

• Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages, discrepancies, or material needs.
• Ensure accurate documentation of completed work in tracking systems.
• Report production metrics, issues, and progress updates to supervisors.

Operational Support

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support cross-functional teams including Shipping & Receiving when needed.
• Be available to work at Nuvia’s Draper warehouse as required by business needs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse, production, or kitting operations.
• Prior leadership, lead, or supervisory experience preferred (informal leadership experience acceptable).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead by example and work hands-on with the team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read, write, and understand work instructions and training materials.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, scanning systems, inventory tools).
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 30–40 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Experience with inventory management systems or warehouse software.
• Experience in a regulated or quality-driven environment.

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Work Environment

• Fast-paced warehouse setting with a strong focus on teamwork and efficiency.
• Hands-on role requiring physical activity and leadership presence on the floor.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
