Job description:

oversees the entire manufacturing or production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety while managing budgets, schedules, and staff. Key responsibilities include planning production schedules, maintaining equipment, controlling costs, ensuring quality standards, and coordinating with departments like procurement and sales.

Responsibilities :

• Production Planning & Scheduling: Designing, implementing, and adjusting production schedules to meet customer deadlines, including forecasting, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.
• Cost & Budget Management: Formulating, managing, and monitoring production budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness, reducing expenses, and optimizing resources.
• Quality Control & Safety: Setting and enforcing quality standards for finished products, while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols (e.g., OSHA,, ISO standards) for machinery and staff.
• Resource & Inventory Management: Overseeing the procurement, storage, and maintenance of raw materials, tools, and equipment.
• Team Leadership & Management: Hiring, training, and supervising staff, defining roles, assessing performance, and optimizing productivity.
• Process Improvement: Utilizing techniques like Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity.
• Documentation & Reporting: Ensuring accurate documentation for production runs, including compliance with industry regulations.

Key Skills Required

• Leadership and Management: Ability to lead teams, motivate staff, and delegate tasks effectively.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving: Identifying production bottlenecks and implementing immediate solutions.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of manufacturing machinery, processes, and software (e.g., ERP systems).
• Communication: Interdepartmental liaison between purchasing, sales, and senior management
