Job Title: Production Operative

Location: Rosemount Business Park, Ballycoolin, Dublin 11, D11 XP70.

Working Hours: Shift Rotation [Evening Shift every 3rd week]

Day Shift: 39 Hour

• Mon-Thurs: 7am to 3:30pm
• Fri: 7am to 2:30pm

Evening Shift: 39 Hour

• Mon-Thurs: 11:30pm to 8pm
• Fri: 11:30pm to 7pm

Job Purpose:

To support the efficient and safe production of insulation materials by operating machinery, handling raw materials, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring a clean and organised work environment. The Production Operative plays a crucial role in maintaining consistent output and product integrity in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate manufacturing machinery and equipment according to safety and quality guidelines.
• Monitor the production line to ensure consistent material flow and identify any issues early.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished products.
• Carry out routine quality checks and measurements to ensure products meet specifications.
• Report any equipment faults or quality concerns to the supervisor or maintenance team promptly.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety regulations, and hygiene requirements at all times.
• Assist in machine changeovers, setups, and cleaning between production batches.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and hazard-free work area.
• Support team members and contribute to a positive, productive working environment.
• Record production data and complete relevant paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred (experience in insulation or construction materials is a plus but not essential).
• Safe Pass certification – required.
• Manual Handling certification – required.
• Good command of English – spoken and written.
• Basic understanding of health and safety procedures in a factory setting.
• Physically fit – able to stand for long periods and lift/move materials.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work in shifts, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends if required.
• Forklift licence is a plus but not essential.

Salary & Compensation:

• The standard weekly salary for this position is €612.00, payable weekly in arrears via credit transfer, subject to statutory tax deductions.
• An evening shift allowance of 10% will apply for hours worked on the designated evening shift.
• Any hours worked in excess of 39 hours per week will be compensated at a rate of time and a half.
