Job purpose:
The Production Supervisor plays a critical role in the overall production and supply management of the commercial bakery operations. To supervise and coordinate production activities at all processing stages in the CT Bakery plant to ensure production meets or exceeds efficiency and company safety and quality standards by following GMP regulations and the company’s SOP, SSOP’s and work instructions. To engage line employees and build a strong teamwork culture in the plant.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
· Supervise and coordinate production activities at all processing stages
· Ensure production meets or exceeds efficiency and company safety and quality standards by following GMO regulations and the company’s SOP, SSOP’s and work instructions
· Manage the workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
· Onboard and train new employees for their line position and prove H&S orientation
· Ensure products meet the CT Bakery standard regarding safety and quality at all times
· Evaluate employee performance, provide feedback, and implement necessary corrective actions
· Communicate with other departments and teams to coordinate production activities and resolve any issues that may arise
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or related field
· Have proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment
· Have experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
· Strong leadership and people management skills
· Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
· Have strong knowledge of HACCP/GMP/JHSC
· Advanced skills in MS Office

Pay: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
