About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will oversee daily operations in the production room, ensuring smooth workflow, high-quality standards, and efficient use of resources. You will play a key role in training, supervising staff, and maintaining a safe, organised, and productive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organise and manage workflow in the manufacturing room, ensuring machine operators understand their duties and delegated tasks.
- Conduct and coordinate training for new employees and implement updates to procedures for existing staff as required.
- Test products to meet customer requirements and specifications.
- Track clean room consumables and maintain stock levels as needed.
- Ensure the production area remains clean, safe, and organised.
- Conduct BHR (Balloon History Record) prior to Quality Review.
- Perform final inspection data entry and compile relevant data for process metrics and quality objectives for management review.
- Coordinate stock management and oversee extrusion processes.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 3+ years previous experience in a production or manufacturing supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of quality control processes and manufacturing procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to train and mentor staff.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Working knowledge of ISO 13485:2016 preferred.
Working Hours:
- Monday-Thursday: 7am-4pm.
- Friday: 7am-12pm.
- Flexibility may be required during busy periods.
