Job Summary
Located in Langley, Mark-Crest Foods is a SQF certified, family owned and operated company that produces nearly 200 frozen products ranging from ready-to-use pie shells, crepes and puff pastry to fully baked savory pies and appetizers. Our reputation for quality products, service and stable family-like work environment has become Mark-Crest’s trademark in the past 60 years.
Responsibilities
- Operate packaging machinery and assist with product assembly
- Maintain strict sanitation and cleanliness standards
- Clean-up dough making area and equipment.
- Set-up and operate production equipment
- Other assigned duties in production.
Work Environment Requirements:
- Able to work 10 hrs during the day shift
- Able to handle materials up to 50 lb
- Able to communicate effectively in English
- Able to work independently and in a team environment
- No food or dust allergies
Experience
- Prior experience in manufacturing or food processing is preferred but not required; training will be provided
Compensation:
· $21.15 starting wage and progress to a regular wage after performance review. Position is also eligible for monthly incentive bonus, Christmas bonus, Extended health benefits, Birthday paid holiday, Overtime available, On-site parking
