Job Description

As the Product/Relationship Manager - 2degrees, your primary role is to own the product lifecycle and maximise the trading performance of the Connected Solutions portfolio across Noel Leeming. The portfolio currently includes driving 2degrees pay monthly performance and our TradeIn program for Technology.

Your role in the Connected Solutions portfolio will be significant – from supporting the nationwide team in their day to day roles, developing capability within our stores which act as frontline to our customers, driving Regional & Store Management on the performance of connected solutions services – through to negotiating the best promotional activity as the first point of contact with our related supplier partners to deliver the best commercial outcomes for them and the business. Also working cross-functionally with our Merchandise, Operations and Marketing and wider services team to maximise the performance, growth and delivery opportunities in this portfolio.

This role also requires an individual to ensure financial risk is mitigated through regular reconciliation in partnership with our Finance team, with an emphasis to provide corrective observations and close any perceived threats in processes.

Quick snapshot of the role:

  • Managing overall trading performance of the Connected Solutions portfolio
  • Conducting regular strategic reviews of the portfolio
  • To collaboratively negotiate promotional activity with the Cellular Buyer
  • Marketing & promotional execution across multiple sales channels
  • Owning the product roadmap & strategising for future growth opportunities across the portfolio
  • Building relationships across the Group to drive continuous improvement and value of the portfolio
  • Understanding the national behavioural trends of store staff to mitigate financial risk and maximise sales opportunities
Qualifications

We are ideally looking for someone with prior retail experience in the Telecommunications industry, with versatility and confidence in every commercial aspect, looking at what our customers want, intimate knowledge of the market and what our competitors are doing.

You have solid trading and retail operations knowledge – acting as core support to our retail teams to execute the service proposition effectively. Excelling in communication, influencing and stakeholder management, you’ll be highly capable of building and getting the best out of relationships at all levels.
