Programme Manager - Te Puna Aonui

Are you ready to be part of something bigger? We are a unit with a significant system role, working across government to take collective action against family violence and sexual violence.

We steward the family violence and sexual violence system and drive realisation of the cross-agency strategy—Te Aorerekura. We work in partnership with communities across Aotearoa New Zealand, placing survivors, families, and whānau at the heart of everything we do.


Te Haeata/The Opportunity

Te Puna Aonui is looking for an experienced Programme Manager who is looking for their next opportunity to manage a large scale transformation programme.

You will be implementing a programme that will support communities and iwi to strengthen their local responses to family violence. This is an exciting opportunity and we are seeking someone who is committed to delivering quality results on time and is passionate about supporting safety and wellbeing. Ō pūkenga/Skills and Experience

  • In depth knowledge of the FVSV sector
  • Advanced knowledge of programme and strong project management methods and disciplines, with proven delivery in a large and complex operational setting.
  • Proven ability to apply a systems-thinking approach to managing large scale social change projects. This includes activity that works horizontally and vertically across government and non-government partners, from community to ministerial level
  • Proven experience in leading complex programmes and projects where there are minimal or no precedents for the target solutions.
  • Experience leading and delivering a complex programme and/or project in a multidisciplinary and cross-agency environment

Utu ā-tau/Salary

The appointing salary for this role will be between $147,972 and $206,570 based on skills and experience.
