JOB OVERVIEW
Under the guidance of the Project Manager, the Project Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and tracking supply chain projects end-to-end. They will log newly submitted opportunities, guide each initiative through the Project/CR (Change Request) process through to completion, and ensure timelines and expenses remain within the established schedule and budget. They will develop and maintain mechanisms for monitoring project progress, keeping key stakeholders informed through regular reporting and communication channels.
SCOPE
- Tactical coordination across functions in planning, executing, and tracking project tasks.
- Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders, both internal and external, championing action items to ensure projects meet time, cost and quality objectives.
- Establish/maintain system to monitor progress, identify risks in advance, communicate/escalate as appropriate.
- Create SOWs/quotes, milestone plans, schedule and cost forecasts, maintain project documentation.
- Facilitate meetings, maintain associated documentation, support Leadership administratively as required.
- Work closely with and act as back-up to the Project Manager.
EDUCATION//EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent education/experience.
- 2-5 years hands-on project experience, preference for within a warehousing/logistics environment.
- Project Management Professional Certification (PMP), Green Belt certification (or working towards) is an asset.
- Experience using ERP/WMS/TMS software.
- Experience in modeling operational problems, process flow charting, value stream mapping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in MS Project and Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to create project plans, reporting/dashboards, documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate meetings/working sessions, communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Extremely organized and committed to meeting timelines/deliverables.
- Strong interpersonal capabilities, willingness and agility to work cross-functionally with others.
- Ability to gain clarity in ambiguous situations.
- Politically astute.
