Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to oversee panel and exterior wall system projects from award through closeout. This role is responsible for managing schedules, budgets, fabrication coordination, quality standards, safety requirements, and client communication to ensure successful project delivery.

The ideal candidate has experience in exterior wall systems, cladding, or ACM panels, strong coordination skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders including clients, consultants, fabrication teams, suppliers, and field crews.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Coordination

  • Manage panel projects from pre-construction through completion.
  • Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and scope of work.
  • Prepare and track project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs.
  • Monitor project budgets and job costs.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders and subcontract agreements.
  • Coordinate site mobilization, equipment, and manpower planning.
  • Track project progress and provide regular status updates.

Field & Fabrication Operations

  • Coordinate fabrication drawings and production schedules.
  • Review panel take-offs and material quantities for accuracy.
  • Liaise with the fabrication team to ensure detailing aligns with site conditions.
  • Coordinate field measurements and site verification prior to production.
  • Manage material procurement and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Oversee installation sequencing and coordination with other trades.
  • Track deficiencies and ensure timely resolution.
  • Ensure quality control standards are maintained during fabrication and installation.

Financial & Administrative

  • Assist with project budgeting and cost tracking.
  • Review supplier invoices and track expenses.
  • Prepare and support progress billings.
  • Manage change orders and extras documentation.
  • Complete project closeout documentation including warranties and as-builts.
  • Maintain accurate and organized project files.

Client & Stakeholder Communication

  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned projects.
  • Attend site meetings and prepare meeting minutes as required.
  • Communicate with general contractors, consultants, suppliers, fabrication teams, and internal staff.
  • Address project challenges proactively and implement solutions.
  • Maintain strong professional relationships with clients and industry partners.

Health & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Support site safety planning and documentation.
  • Participate in safety meetings and site inspections.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in construction project management or coordination (cladding or panel experience preferred).
  • Strong understanding of ACM panels, siding systems, and exterior wall assemblies.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Valid driver’s license.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
