Job Overview
We are looking for a capable Project Coordinator who can also support project coordination for structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication and installation projects.

The successful candidate will work closely with the General Manager to ensure smooth transition from estimating to project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, compare, and negotiate pricing with suppliers for materials and consumables ordering
• Collaborate with project managers, field teams, and internal departments to facilitate seamless project execution
• Support project tracking, RFIs, change orders, and documentation in coordination with project managers
• Maintain communication with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams across estimating and project phases
• Monitor market trends, labour rates, and material costs to improve estimating accuracy and competitiveness
• Maintain organized project and estimating records for reporting, reference, and closeout
• Take ownership of shop-issuance of drawings, ensuring fabricators have access to all required drawings to perform timely and accurate fabrication

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in structural steel project coordination or a similar construction-related role
• Understanding of structural steel fabrication and installation processes
• Familiarity with construction project lifecycle
• Experience working with project managers, field teams, and subcontractors
• Exposure to job handover processes and project execution support is an asset

• Ability to work independently while supporting a team-based project environment

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
