Skills

  • Good in communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Working understanding of warehouse operations and material flow (receiving, sorting, dispatch, conveyor-based movement, etc.).
  • Ability to understand the basic architecture and working principles of automation hardware (conveyors, dispensers, sensors, PLC/control systems) — a purely non-technical background is not sufficient for this role.
  • Prior experience in project coordination, implementation, or customer-facing technical roles is preferred, ideally in automation, material handling, or industrial equipment.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills to work effectively across customer operations teams, and internal hardware and software development teams.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to diagnose operational issues and coordinate timely resolutions.
  • Willingness to travel to customer warehouse sites for installation, commissioning, and operational support visits.
  • Familiarity with software integration concepts (APIs, data exchange between machines and software systems) is an added advantage.
Role & Responsibilities

Experience required: - 3-4 years

  • Coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders to gather and document initial automation requirements (e.g., telescopic conveyor, OCR conveyor, auto dispenser, vending machine, incline conveyor, POS, thermal printer systems).
  • Translate customer and warehouse operational requirements into clear technical inputs for the hardware and software development teams.
  • Coordinate integration requirements where machines need to interface with different third-party or customer-specific software systems (WMS, ERP, POS, or custom platforms).
  • Track project progress across design, development, assembly, and testing stages, ensuring timelines and specifications are met.
  • Coordinate on-site installation and commissioning activities, liaising between the Ethics technical team and the customer's operations/facility team.
  • Observe and monitor daily operation of installed machines post-commissioning, identifying performance issues or gaps.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the customer's operations team and Ethics' hardware/software development teams to discuss operational challenges, troubleshoot issues, and drive resolution.
  • Coordinate machine upgrades or modifications in response to new or evolving customer requirements.
  • Maintain documentation of requirements, installation records, issue logs, and resolutions for each project/site.
  • Own the coordination responsibility end-to-end — from requirement gathering through product development, installation, commissioning, and daily operational support — as the single point of accountability for each project.
