The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Project Scheduler with solid experience in planning, scheduling, and project controls to support the delivery of industry leading high-voltage renewable energy projects. This role is based in Adelaide and will be part of our growing national team of Project Schedulers.
Reporting to the Program Scheduling Lead, you’ll work closely with Project Managers and Project Engineers across our local operations. Your primary focus will be to develop, maintain, and optimise detailed project schedules, ensuring project milestones are met and progress is tracked effectively against agreed baselines.
This is an exciting time to join CPP and our South Australian operations team, as we ramp up delivery of major EPC projects across Substations, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and Wind Farms. Be part of a team driving real impact in achieving the state’s renewable energy targets.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, manage, and maintain detailed schedules for electrical utilities & renewable energy projects.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather project inputs and ensure accurate scheduling of milestones and deliverables.
Track and report on project progress, identifying and addressing scheduling risks or deviations from the baseline.
Provide insightful schedule analysis to key stakeholders and contribute to project reviews.
Align schedules with overall project objectives, budget, and timelines.
Support risk mitigation efforts by identifying and communicating scheduling conflicts early.
Skills and Experiences:
About You
You’ll bring a strong background in scheduling for complex, multidisciplinary projects, ideally within the renewable energy or electrical utilities sector. Experience in infrastructure, mining, or oil & gas will also be highly regarded.
To be successful in this role, you will also possess:
5+ years of experience in a scheduling or project controls role on large-scale projects.
Proven track record of working on high-value or technically complex projects in construction, renewables, or similar industries.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Strong technical skills, with proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
