The Public Area Attendant keeps the designated Public Area clean at all times during his / her shift and assists guests with their queries.

What will I be doing?

As the Public Area Attendant, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Ensure that the designated areas are properly and regularly cleaned.

• Knowledgeable of the location of outlets and other facilities in order to correctly direct guests.

• Ensure that supplies are properly stocked in the restrooms.

• Greet guests warmly with a friendly smile.

• Offer all possible assistance to guests and respond to guests’ requests.

• Maintain all equipment in good working condition.

• Keep storeroom neat and in good order.

• Report any damage of carpet or furniture, etc. for immediate repairs, reporting promptly and following up on urgent repair issues.

• Deliver high quality services to guests.

• Adhere to the hotel’s cleaning and maintenance programs, maintain a clean work area.

• Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Adhere by the hotel’s policies and procedures, Hilton code of business conduct and the hotel’s team member handbook, security and emergency policies and procedures.

• Work experience in the hotel industry.

• Knowledgeable of the public area operations and the usage of cleaning chemicals and machines.

• Good eyesight and physically fit to be able to work long hours.
