Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven PR Marketing Executive to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing public relations campaigns, building and maintaining media relationships, and promoting our brand to the public through various communication channels. As a PR Marketing Executive, you will play a key role in enhancing the company's public image and driving awareness of our products or services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Public Relations Strategy:
  • Develop and implement effective PR strategies to promote the brand and its services.
  • Monitor media trends and industry developments to identify opportunities for positive press coverage.
  • Media Relations:
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with journalists, influencers, and media outlets.
  • Pitch story ideas to media contacts and secure media coverage through press releases, interviews, and guest articles.
  • Content Creation & Management:
  • Write and distribute press releases, media kits, and other communication materials.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to create engaging content for various channels, including social media, blogs, and newsletters.
  • Event Management:
  • Plan and execute PR events, press conferences, and promotional activities.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, media, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Brand Reputation & Crisis Management:
  • Monitor public perception of the brand and work to enhance the company’s reputation.
  • Address any negative press or public concerns and work on crisis communication strategies when necessary.
  • Reporting & Analytics:
  • Track media coverage, measure the success of PR campaigns, and provide regular reports to management.
  • Use analytics tools to evaluate the effectiveness of PR efforts and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Social Media Integration:
  • Collaborate with the social media team to align PR efforts with social media campaigns.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging across both PR and digital marketing channels.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in PR, marketing, or communications, ideally within a similar industry.
  • Freshers can also apply
  • Proven track record in media relations and securing positive press coverage.
  • Communication Skills:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives.
  • Ability to build relationships and effectively pitch to journalists, influencers, and other media personnel.
  • Creativity & Problem-Solving:
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate fresh ideas for PR campaigns.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to navigate media challenges or potential crises.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and PR tools (e.g., Cision, PRWeb).
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.
  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a PR agency or in-house corporate environment.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and integrating PR efforts with digital marketing.
  • Previous experience in handling media crises or negative publicity.
  • Knowledge of the latest PR trends and best practices.
