1. Raw Material & Ingredient Procurement
Source and purchase daily/weekly raw materials such as vegetables, meat, seafood, spices, packaging items, and other food ingredients.
Ensure all materials meet required quality, freshness, and shelf-life standards.
Coordinate with chefs/outlet managers to understand consumption and requirement levels.
2. Vendor & Supplier Management
Identify reliable suppliers for food categories and negotiate the best price without compromising quality.
Maintain good relationships with vendors and ensure continuous supply.
Evaluate vendors on quality, delivery time, hygiene standards, and pricing.
3. Inventory & Stock Control
Monitor daily stock movement and ensure timely replenishment to avoid shortages.
Work closely with the warehouse team on GRN (Goods Received Note), batch checking, and FIFO methods.
Track fast-moving, slow-moving, and near-expiry items.
4. Price Negotiation & Cost Control
Negotiate competitive rates with suppliers for cost optimization.
Track market price fluctuations (vegetables, meat, etc.) and update pricing regularly.
Reduce wastage through efficient purchasing and planning.
5. Food Safety & Quality Compliance
Ensure vendors follow food safety standards – FSSAI compliance, hygiene in handling and delivery.
Verify quality of received items (freshness, temperature, packaging, expiry dates).
Reject low-quality or damaged stock immediately.
6. Documentation & Coordination
Maintain purchase orders, quotations, invoices, and delivery records.
Verify bills and coordinate with the accounts team for supplier payments.
Maintain updated vendor lists, rate cards, and monthly usage reports.
7. Logistics & Delivery Follow-Up
Track delivery schedules to ensure timely arrival of items.
Coordinate transport for fragile, perishable, or bulk items.
Resolve delivery delays, shortages, or mismatches promptly.
8. Reporting & Audits
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly purchase reports.
Support internal audits by providing purchase documentation and vendor details.
Track consumption vs. purchase trends for operational efficiency.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹9,463.36 - ₹25,000.00 per month
