Job Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and organized Purchasing Administrator to manage the sourcing and purchasing of materials for our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent English, strong computer skills, knowledge of building products, and the ability to work independently while maintaining clear communication with the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and purchase building materials, tools, and equipment needed for projects.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, timely delivery, and competitive pricing.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate deliveries to sites.
  • Negotiate pricing and review purchase agreements.
  • Keep accurate records of purchases, costs, and supplier information.
  • Work closely with project managers and site teams to anticipate material needs.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve procurement processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office and procurement-related software).
  • Knowledge of building products and the construction supply chain.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Negotiation skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in construction procurement or materials management.
  • Familiarity with budgeting and cost control.
