Qa/Qc Engineer (Automation)

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Quality Engineer with a strong background in automation testing. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in quality engineering and development, with a deep understanding of test automation frameworks, and a keen interest or possess strong grasp of Salesforce administration and configuration. This role combines technical problem-solving skills with an understanding of business processes in a fastpaced and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and Java to ensure the quality of applications.
• Designing and implementing test strategies for automated testing of data transformation
• Validating data quality and accuracy, conducting functional, integration, regression, and performance testing to ensure robustness and scalability.
• Identifying defects, reporting issues, and following through to resolution, ensuring clear documentation and traceability.
• Required to configure and administer Salesforce environments, including user management, security settings, workflows, and custom development (preferred/interested to learn and skill up).
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business teams to define quality metrics and test cases for new features and integrations.
• Lead the design and execution of both manual and automated tests, ensuring a robust quality assurance process.
• Maintain and enhance automation frameworks to support continuous

integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

• Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues, providing solutions to optimize test effectiveness and efficiency.
• Analyze test results, track defects, and generate comprehensive reports for key

stakeholders.

• Stay updated on new testing tools, technologies, and best practices within the Salesforce ecosystem and automation testing (preferred/interested to learn and skill up)
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and Software Engineers on data-centric tasks such as validating data transformations and ensuring pipeline integrity.
• Work closely with Delivery Managers to align quality assurance strategies with project goals and timelines.
• Collaborate with other specialists in a cross-functional and agile team.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in quality engineering with a solid track record of automating tests and driving quality improvements.
• Proficient in test automation using Selenium.
• Knowledge of API testing, SOAP, or RESTful web services.
• Data formats like CSV, and the ability to manipulate these files for testing purposes.
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, Pivotal Tracker) and defect management processes.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex issues.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with technical and nontechnical teams.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, or similar tools is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on Salesforce Administrator experience with a deep understanding of the platform, including setup, configuration, and customization. Knowledge of the Salesforce development and administration model, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning (without knowledge is acceptable but willing to learn).
• Familiarity with additional automation tools like TestNG, JUnit, or Appium.
