Dental Nurse / Receptionist (Specialist Paediatric Practice)

We are a specialist paediatric dental practice providing high-quality care for children from infancy through adolescence. Our practice is small, highly structured and values-led, with a strong focus on clinical excellence, organisation and patient experience.We are seeking a high-performing, qualified Dental Nurse with the capability and ambition to work across clinical care and reception.This is a multi-dimensional role suited to a candidate who is confident, clinically strong, and thrives in a well-run, professional environment.

The Role

This is a part-time position over 4 days per week, with a mix of clinical assisting days and reception days. The role spans:

  • Chairside clinical assisting at a specialist level
  • Patient communication
  • Sterilisation and clinical support (sterri)
  • Reception and patient flow management

You will be expected to move seamlessly across these areas with efficiency, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Dental Nurse (essential)
  • Strong clinical assisting skills and experience
  • Excellent communication and organisational ability
  • Ability to work independently within a structured system
  • Professional, calm, and confident manner with children and parents

Highly Desirable

  • Qualification in Dental Radiography
  • Experience in a specialist or paediatric setting

Job Type: Part-time (4 days per week)

Pay: €18.00-€22.00 per hour

Education:

  • Advanced/Higher Certificate (required)

Experience:

  • Dental assisting: 1 year (preferred)

Work authorisation:

  • Ireland (required)

Work Location: In person
