We are seeking an experienced and organized Dental Nurse to work with a well established dental practice in Carlow. The ideal candidate will have a registration with he dental council Ireland and experience with lab work necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Assist dentists during examinations and dental procedures
• Prepare and sterilise instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms
• Support patient care and help patients feel comfortable during treatment
• Maintain accurate patient records and appointment notes
• Follow strict infection control and health & safety procedures
• Take and process dental X-rays where qualified
• Manage stock levels and order dental supplies when needed
• Provide post-treatment care instructions to patients
• Work closely with the dental team to ensure smooth daily operations
• Handle administrative duties including scheduling and patient communicationn.
• Implement initiatives to improve patient experience and build strong relationships with patients.
• Compliance & Quality Assurance
• Ensure the practice complies with all regulatory and quality standards (e.g., CQC, HIPAA, GDPR).
• Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills; proficient in dental software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €32,000.00-€42,000.00 per year
