The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced Quality Advisor to join our national PMO team. In this role, you’ll support the implementation and continuous improvement of inspection and testing systems, ensuring practical, consistent application across our high-voltage infrastructure projects.
Working closely with our Engineering, Project Delivery, and Construction teams, you’ll embed quality into every stage of the project lifecycle - from planning and design, through to site execution and commissioning.
With travel to site around 2 weeks per month, this is a high-impact, highly collaborative role that gives you the opportunity to influence how Australia’s future energy assets are delivered.
Key responsibilities:
Drive the standardisation and continual improvement of inspection and testing processes across projects
Support project teams in the setup and implementation of Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and Certificates (ITCs)
Conduct internal and supplier audits, reviews, and system health checks
Champion non-conformance and root cause analysis processes
Provide hands-on quality support on-site during key project phases
Deliver training and guidance to project teams to uplift quality capability and embed best practices
Influence a strong quality culture across both office and site environments
Skills and Experiences:
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
5+ years’ experience in quality roles, ideally on high voltage energy or civil infrastructure projects
Recognised qualifications in Quality Management or a related field
Certified or qualified quality auditor, with demonstrated experience planning and conducting audits in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 or equivalent
Practical experience developing and implementing ITPs, ITCs, and inspection/testing systems
Working knowledge of ISO 9001, and familiarity with AS3000, AS3600 and AS4100
Ability to travel regularly to project sites and regional offices (approx. 2 weeks/month)
A current Australian Driver’s Licence
Previous experience planning and coordinating audits (ISO 14001 / 45001), using quality management platforms (e.g. Fulcrum, InEight), and PowerBI for reporting are highly desirable
