Job Title: Service Advisor Industry: Automobile Dealership (e.g., Eicher Motors / other OEM dealerships) Job Summary The Service Advisor acts as the primary point of contact between customers and the service workshop. The role involves understanding customer concerns, preparing job cards, coordinating with technicians, ensuring timely delivery of vehicles, and achieving service revenue targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities 1. Customer Handling Greet customers and understand vehicle issues. Conduct vehicle inspection and prepare job cards. Provide accurate repair estimates and timelines. Explain repairs and maintenance recommendations clearly. 2. Workshop Coordination Assign jobs to technicians as per skill level. Monitor job progress and ensure timely completion. Ensure quality control before vehicle delivery. 3. Billing & Documentation Prepare cost estimates and final invoices. Process warranty claims as per OEM guidelines. Maintain service history and documentation in DMS. 4. Revenue & Targets Achieve labor and parts sales targets. Promote AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts) and value-added services. Upsell genuine spare parts and accessories. 5. Customer Satisfaction Ensure smooth vehicle delivery process. Handle customer complaints professionally. Follow up for feedback and service reminders. Required Qualifications Diploma/Degree in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering preferred 2–5 years of experience as Service Advisor (automobile dealership preferred) Knowledge of vehicle systems and service processes Familiarity with Dealer Management System (DMS) Key Skills Technical knowledge of automobiles Communication & interpersonal skills Customer service orientation Problem-solving ability Time management
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
