Responsibilities:

• Working closely with the QA technicians to ensure compliance on the production floor.
• Support on the on-site verification of production/shipping/maintenance-related monitoring including but not limited to quality checks, batch verification, label reconciliation, etc.
• Support in setting-up laboratory to be able to conduct microbiological and organoleptic tests on the product.
• Perform limited range of technical functions in support of animal husbandry, research and environmental protection as required.
• Assisting in analysis of data and preparation of reports as per the findings of the investigation with respect to non-conformances/deviations.
• Support in the implementation of the red-hold tag procedure.
• Work closely with the QA Manager and QA Supervisor in the implementation of any future projects as needed.
• Support QA Manager and QA Supervisor during customer and third-party audits as needed.

Qualification:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing setting an asset
• Proficient in using Microsoft office applications
• Good verbal and written English language skills
• HACCP/ SQF Certified is an asset
• Flexibility to work different shifts or additional overtime on the weekends.

Pay: $19.80 per hour
