Job Description:The Quality Inspector is responsible for but not limited to: ensuring all parts supplied to the customer meet all customer specifications, ensuring parts received from third party vendors meet customer, West End Tool and industry specifications, parts meet acceptance criteria thru NDT specifications, ensuring all processes and procedures are being followed in the manufacturing process.

Accountable to: Quality Manager Salary/Pay grade: Hourly

Responsibilities/daily tasks:

· Experience in reading blue prints and have a working knowledge of customer specifications and industry standards.

· Experience with measuring instruments such as: ID/OD micrometers, calipers, snap gages, bore gages, CMM’s both manual and CNC, Optical Comparator, dial indicators and welding samples.

Qualifications:

Experience preferred: 1-2 years manufacturing, basic math skills with a knowledge of basic geometry, 1-2 years’ quality assurance, working knowledge with Microsoft office i.e. word, excel, and outlook, experience with manufacturing of fabricated and stamped components.

· Compensation will be competitive and will depend upon expertise and experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
