Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to deploy and manage the quality strategy for Marine & Ports Business Line Coast Guard & Navy. You will manage and guide Business Line’s Quality, Health and Safety indicators and goals to meet ABB’s targets and standards. This position is located in Fornebu or Ulsteinvik, Norway. The work model for the role is hybrid: #LI-hybrid You will be mainly accountable for: • Developing, maintaining and continuously improving ABB’s Integrated management system (IMS) and tools for the management of Coast Guard & Navy projects in compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, AQAP 2110 series. • Ensuring compliance with or certified on required standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and AQAP 2110. • Reporting QHSE results to top management in management reviews. • Establishing, maintaining and performing the yearly audit plan. Planning, facilitating and participating in internal and external audits, including supplier, customer and 3rd party certification. • Facilitating root cause analysis and Lessons learnt sessions. • Logging, following up, supporting and resolving to closure QHSE issues including non-conformances, audit findings, customer complaints, actions from root cause analysis, and les-sons learnt, hazards, etc. • Working with local government where applicable. • Ensuring QA requirements to suppliers are in compliance with CGN requirements. • Training, supporting CG&N projects members and ensuring way of working in accordance with ABB IMS.
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant discipline: Science, Engineering, Quality, HSE. 8+ years’ experience within QHSE in the marine industry or similar.
- Good knowledge of QHSE Management Systems, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001.
- Ability to focus on details, identify deviations from QHSE standards and propose opportunities for improvement.
- Familiar with AQAP-2110 and AQAP-2105 is an advantage.
- Quality Lead Auditor certification, - can be also provided by ABB.
- Initiative-driven, solution-oriented and collaborative.
- Fluency in English both verbally and in writing.
- Some travel activity is expected.
