Overview

The role ensures that all ramp and cargo operations are conducted according to company procedures, aviation safety standards, and regulatory requirements while maintaining coordination with operations personnel and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Marshall and chock aircraft
• Operate ground operations equipment safely and efficiently
• Clean/wash aircraft interior and exterior
• Assist with tow operations
• Assist with preparation and loading of cargo in warehouse and onto aircraft
• Assist with snow removal
• Performs equipment inspections and ensures equipment is in excellent shape
• Assist with yard cleaning and FOD removal
• Move operate flight-handling equipment
• Maintain cleanliness, organization and security in warehouse, cargo areas and on the ramp
• De-ice aircraft as needed
• Aircraft preparation for flight
• Assist as flight helper when needed, unloading and loading cargo at destination and at base
• Drive the customer shuttle when needed
• Respond promptly to operational changes, emergencies or special handling requests

Required Skills and Qualifications

Willing to train the right candidate.

• Class 5 Drivers License
• High school diploma or equivalent an asset
• Experience in cargo handling, ground handling,logistics, warehouse,ramp or transportation is an asset
• Basic knowledge of logistic and ramp handling procedures is an asset
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently in fast paced environment with flexible shifts
• Knowledge in IATA Standards an asset

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move heavy cargo packages
• Ability to work efficiently, but safely

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
