It’s an exciting time to be at TFE Hotels! We’re certainly going places and to support our expanding portfolio across New Zealand with our recent exciting partnership with Heritage Hotels, we’re on the lookout for a full-time Receptionist.
Set on the scenic slopes of Ben Lomond Mountain (Te-taumata-o-Hakitekura), Rendezvous Heritage Hotel Queenstown offers alpine charm and breathtaking views of Lake Wakatipu, The Remarkables, and iconic peaks.
About the Role.
As a receptionist, you’ll love putting others first and you’re smiling when they are – you’re the definition of a people person. Being the go-to for guests, managing admin and giving real local advice is all part of the deal. We value people with authentic charisma, celebrate the uniqueness of every team member and are big on sharing the rewards.

Key Responsibilities include:

Process check-in and check-out procedures, verifying guest information and issuing room keys.
Answer guest enquiries and address their needs and requests.
Handle guest complaints and escalate issues to supervisors when necessary.
Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions
Manage and update guest accounts.
Take and confirm room reservations, either by phone or in person.
Process payments for hotel services and verify credit card information

About You:

Previous experience in a similar role within a hotel environment is highly desirable
Immaculate grooming, personal presentation and a positive attitude
Working knowledge of a Property Management System (desirable)
Proven consistent high-level delivery of customer service.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal/fluent in English)
Available for a mixture of AM & PM shifts and weekends
Full permanent working rights for New Zealand
