As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic Secondment Recruiter to join our team and play a crucial role in further building our well established Secondment Division.

Role Summary:

Think of this position as the ‘warmest’ Automation Engineering agency desk you could ever find, except you have the backing and support of Douglas Control & Automation’s 50 years of success.

As the Secondment Recruiter, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top Automation Engineers to drive the continued success of Douglas Control and Automation’s Secondment Division.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take full ownership of a warm, established automation engineering recruitment desk with existing clients, relationships and active opportunities.
• Manage the full 360 recruitment cycle, from business development and client management through to candidate sourcing and placement.
• Develop and grow existing client relationships across the pharmaceutical, FMCG and manufacturing sectors.
• Proactively identify new business opportunities within an established client base, leveraging warm relationships rather than relying solely on cold business development.
• Source and engage high-calibre automation engineers, PLC programmers, controls engineers and project managers.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates within a highly specialised and in-demand engineering market.
• Manage client requirements, candidate shortlists, interviews, offers and salary negotiations.
• Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts and increase recruitment revenue through repeat business.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and manage recruitment activity, pipelines and client interactions.
• Work towards agreed revenue, placement and business development targets.
• Deliver a high-quality service to both clients and candidates, building long-term partnerships.
• Operate with a high degree of autonomy, taking responsibility for the growth and performance of the desk.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in 360 recruitment, preferably within technical or engineering sectors.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree.
• Skills: Strong sourcing and interviewing skills, with a deep understanding of best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with candidates and stakeholders at all levels.
• Attributes: Highly organized, proactive, and results-oriented, with a passion for people and a keen eye for talent.

Pay: €50,000.00-€99,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Cork, County Cork
