Sherlock Recruitment is a leading provider of Trades and Labour staffing solutions to the Construction and M&E industries. Due to continued growth and expansion, we are seeking an experienced Sales / Account Manager to join our team on a permanent basis.

This is a senior hire and a key role within the business, focused on growing our Construction division by identifying and responding to the needs of both new and existing clients.

The Role

• Drive growth within the Construction division through new business development and account management
• Identify decision-makers and develop strong client relationships
• Manage and maintain a structured sales plan and opportunity pipeline within the CRM system
• Achieve agreed KPIs and revenue targets
• Plan and organise daily sales activity, targeting prospective and existing clients
• Negotiate rates and convert opportunities into qualified orders
• Provide regular activity, sales, and pipeline reports to management

About You

• Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management
• Strong understanding of the construction industry
• Demonstrated success in winning new business
• Commercially astute with strong business acumen
• Confident, articulate, and experienced in a client-facing role
• Methodical, driven, and organised sales approach
• Experience working with cross-functional teams
• Full clean driving licence
