Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration systems and HVAC equipment. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read and interpret schematics. The Refrigeration Technician will ensure that all systems operate efficiently and comply with safety standards.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems, including commercial and residential units. Primarily ductless split air conditioning systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems and appliances.
• Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance of equipment.
• Build and plumb refrigeration lines as needed for new installations or repairs.
• Weld components together for system repairs or modifications.
• Interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot effectively.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
• Maintain accurate records of service performed on equipment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in refrigeration technology or a related field.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work on various types of equipment.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems and appliance repair techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics.
• Proficient in welding techniques relevant to refrigeration systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Relevant certifications in refrigeration or HVAC preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $26.72-$54.12 per hour
