Qualifications

• Active Wyoming Dental Hygiene License (required)
• CPR Certification (required)
• Local Anesthesia Certification (required)
• Nitrous Oxide Certification (preferred)

Key Responsibilities

• Arrive on time each day with a positive and professional attitude
• Greet and care for patients with compassion and respect
• Update and review patients' medical histories, noting any significant changes
• Perform routine hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling/root planing (SRP)
• Take digital x-rays and impressions as needed
• Conduct intraoral screenings and educate patients about findings
• Work alongside dental assistants to ensure proper sterilization and room preparation
• Maintain and sharpen hygiene instruments
• Provide personalized oral health education to patients of all ages
• Monitor hygiene supply inventory and maintain fully stocked treatment rooms
• Accurately document patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and professionalism
• Understand dental terminology, insurance coding, and billing procedures
