Duties

• Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage.
• Assess clients' physical condition and discuss their health history to create personalized treatment plans.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients before, during, and after sessions.
• Utilize medical terminology effectively when discussing client conditions with other healthcare professionals.
• Communicate clearly with clients regarding the benefits of different massage techniques and any contraindications.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
• Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Valid state license or certification in massage therapy is required.
• Proficiency in medical terminology is preferred to enhance communication with clients and healthcare providers.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
• Previous experience in a customer service role is highly desirable.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on industry trends and techniques.

Pay: $65.00-$75.00 per hour
