We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Reliability Engineer to join our Engineering team within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or experienced engineer looking to develop their skills in equipment reliability, maintenance strategy and continuous improvement.
Working as part of the Engineering team you will support initiatives to improve the reliability, efficiency and performance of manufacturing equipment. You will assist in analysing equipment failures, monitoring asset performance, identifying improvement opportunities and implementing engineering solutions that enhance operational efficiency while ensuring the highest standards of food safety, quality and health & safety.
The successful candidate will be proactive, analytical and eager to learn, with a genuine interest in engineering excellence and a passion for developing a career in reliability engineering within the food manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of reliability improvement initiatives to maximise equipment uptime and production efficiency.
- Drive a culture of high asset reliability to completely maximise engineering uptime and reduce manufacturing interruption.
- Lead and be accountable for the sites comprehensive Asset maintenance programme.
- Maintain and analyse maintenance data within the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to identify improvement opportunities.
- Support engineering projects including equipment modifications, installations and commissioning of new production assets.
- Produce Technical reports, reliability metrics and recommendations for improvement.
- Participate in site shutdowns, planned maintenance activities and engineering improvement projects.
- Support the implementation of reliability improvement initiatives to maximise equipment uptime and production efficiency.
Key Competencies & Skills
- Hold a degree in a Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent).
- Experience in analysing data and using Microsoft Excel and CMMS System.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Be an effective communicator who enjoys working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Be proactive, organised and eager to learn in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
