We are seeking a skilled labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction and installation, demonstrating proficiency with hand tools and the ability to read blueprints. This role requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and the capability to perform heavy lifting as needed. The Installer will be responsible for ensuring that all installations meet quality standards and are completed in a timely manner. Need to be familiar with soffit, facia, eavestrough etc.

Duties

• Perform installations of various products according to specifications and blueprints.
• Comfortable working at heights
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for assembly and installation tasks.
• Conduct thorough inspections of work areas before and after installation to ensure safety and quality.
• Execute caulking and sealing tasks as required for finished installations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the installation process.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding project timelines and any necessary adjustments.

Experience

• Proven experience as an Installer or in a similar maintenance person role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Experience with heavy lifting, ensuring safety protocols are followed during all tasks.
• Familiarity with carpentry practices is a plus, enhancing overall installation quality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Experience:

• Renovations: 3 years (required)
• Siding, soffit, facia, eavestrough install: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (required)
• WHMIS Certification (preferred)
• MOL 4-Step (preferred)
• Working at Heights Certificate (required)
