POSITION SUMMARY

This position provides research, analytical analysis and report writing support across consulting and valuation engagements, delivering high-quality research and insight-driven data analysis. The role involves collecting and interpreting market and property data across Canada, maintaining and supporting databases, and assisting in the development of client-ready reports and deliverables.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• As part of the Seniors Housing & Healthcare team, this role would support consulting and appraisal assignments by providing research, data analysis, and administrative assistance
• Conduct in-depth market research to gather, verify, and maintain accurate market data using online tools, field-based research, and direct outreach to market participants
• Manage and update internal databases to ensure data integrity, consistency, and reliability
• Assist in report preparation by conducting supporting analysis, collecting and interpreting market and property data, and contributing to the development of client-ready reports and written deliverables
• Assist with necessary research and map creation in relevant GIS software
• Assist with macro analysis of internal and external data to identify and interpret market trends
• Collaborate and support the efforts of the practice to ensure exceptional service to our clients

• Communication Skills – Strong written and verbal communication with clarity and professionalism
• Technical Proficiency – Advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel. Working knowledge of Access. Experience with, or willingness to learn, GIS tools such as ArcGIS
• Accountability – Demonstrates reliability, resilience, and a commitment to delivering results
• Adaptability – Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Growth Focus- Willingness to further develop knowledge of commercial valuation and market feasibility analysis

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, data science, urban geography, or a related field with a focus on real estate, analysis, or market research
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in Excel; Working knowledge of Access and other Microsoft Office applications
• Valid driver’s license
• Excellent command of the English language. Please note that English is the primary language used in the office environment. Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset
