Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures primarily using wood and other materials, ensuring projects meet safety standards and specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprint reading, carpentry, and heavy equipment operation, with an emphasis on precision and safety. Apprentices welcome

Duties

• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine project requirements.
• Construct and install framing for walls, floors, roofs, and other structures using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking techniques.
• Operate heavy equipment safely to assist with lifting and positioning materials.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and building codes.
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction, carpentry, or framing roles.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions.
• Relevant certifications or training in construction safety are preferred but not required. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that enhance skills in framing, carpentry, and construction technology while contributing to high-quality building standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour
