The restaurant combines Indian, Continental, Asian, and fusion cuisine with a strong focus on hospitality excellence, operational efficiency, and memorable customer experiences.

We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and business-driven Restaurant General Manager to lead all aspects of restaurant and brewery operations.

Position Summary

The Restaurant General Manager (RGM) will be responsible for overseeing the complete operations of the restaurant, brewery, bar, kitchen coordination, guest experience, profitability, staffing, and compliance. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership abilities, operational expertise, financial acumen, and hands-on experience in managing high-volume restaurants, breweries, lounges, or premium dining establishments.

The RGM will act as the face of the brand and ensure seamless coordination between Front of House (FOH), Back of House (BOH), brewery operations, bar operations, marketing initiatives, and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day restaurant and brewery operations.
  • Ensure smooth functioning of FOH, BOH, bar, and brewery departments.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, beverage quality, presentation, hygiene, and guest experience.
  • Ensure SOP implementation across all departments.
  • Monitor daily opening and closing procedures.
  • Ensure optimal table turnover and efficient seating management.
  • Drive operational efficiency while maintaining service excellence.

Guest Experience & Service Excellence

  • Deliver exceptional customer service standards consistently.
  • Handle guest complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution.
  • Build strong guest relationships and encourage repeat business.
  • Monitor online reviews on platforms such as Google, Zomato, and social media.
  • Implement customer engagement and loyalty initiatives.
  • Ensure service speed, order accuracy, and hospitality standards are maintained.

Team Leadership & People Management

  • Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise restaurant staff.
  • Lead department heads including Restaurant Managers, Kitchen Managers, Bar Managers, Captains, and Supervisors.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings, performance evaluations, and coaching sessions.
  • Create employee schedules and manage manpower planning.
  • Ensure discipline, grooming standards, punctuality, and professional conduct.
  • Build a positive work culture focused on accountability and teamwork.
  • Reduce attrition through employee engagement and development initiatives.

Financial & Business Management

  • Achieve sales targets and profitability goals.
  • Monitor daily sales reports, labor costs, food costs, and beverage costs.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and operational reports.
  • Control operational expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Analyze P&L statements and take corrective actions where required.
  • Drive upselling and promotional strategies to maximize revenue.
  • Ensure cash handling procedures and billing accuracy.

Inventory & Vendor Management

  • Monitor inventory levels for food, beverages, brewery supplies, and operational materials.
  • Minimize food wastage and inventory losses.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and variance checks.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely procurement.
  • Ensure quality control of raw materials and supplies.

Brewery & Bar Operations

  • Supervise brewery and bar operations to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Monitor beverage quality, pouring standards, and alcohol inventory.
  • Coordinate with brewmasters and bar teams for smooth operations.
  • Ensure responsible alcohol service practices are followed.

Marketing & Business Development

  • Collaborate with marketing teams on promotions, events, campaigns, and seasonal activities.
  • Increase restaurant visibility through local marketing initiatives.
  • Support social media engagement and brand-building activities.
  • Develop corporate tie-ups, event opportunities, and community engagement programs.

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with all local food safety, liquor, labor, and health regulations.
  • Maintain hygiene and sanitation standards as per FSSAI guidelines.
  • Ensure workplace safety and preventive maintenance standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and ensure operational compliance.
  • Handle emergency situations effectively and professionally.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5–10 years of experience in restaurant operations.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in a leadership role as General Manager or Restaurant Manager in a premium restaurant, brewery, lounge, pub, or multi-cuisine establishment.
  • Strong understanding of brewery and bar operations preferred.
  • Experience managing high-volume restaurant operations is highly desirable.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹65,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Mohali, Punjab: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
