Lisbon Hotel is a cozy, 38-seat cocktail bar located in the heart of Corktown/Rivercity in Toronto's East End. We're known for our thoughtful, European-inspired tapas, a beautifully curated wine list, and an intensive cocktail program. We believe in creating a warm, welcoming space where genuine hospitality and exceptional quality is at the core of what we do.

The Role:

We're looking for an experienced and passionate General Manager to lead our team and help Lisbon Hotel continue to be a community hub for our neighbourhood. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in an intimate, creative environment and cares deeply about people-both guests and staff.

What You'll Do:

• Lead day-to-day operations
• Hire, train, and develop staff with a focus on hospitality and professionalism
• Uphold and embody our company values, ensuring a consistent and elevated product and guest experience
• Manage scheduling, inventory, and supplier relations. Control labour and report directly to owners
• Collaborate with ownership on strategy, goals, and ongoing growth of the business
• Continue to cultivate the positive, inclusive, and team-focused culture we have created
• Uphold our brand vision and voice

Who You Are:

• Minimum 3 years of hospitality management experience, preferably in a cocktail-focused concept
• A natural leader with a passion for mentorship and service
• Detail-oriented, organized, and calm under pressure
• Deep understanding of genuine hospitality, guest dynamics, and creating memorable experiences
• Comfortable managing the full scope of front of house and back of house operations
