Restaurant Manager

We operate three of Queenstown’s most loved restaurants – Public Kitchen & Bar, Finz Seafood & Grill, and Bella Cucina – each with its own character, menu, and loyal following.

We’re now looking for experienced Restaurant Managers to join our team and lead a venue. You’ll be responsible for the smooth day-to-day operation of the restaurant, while mentoring the leadership team, creating memorable experiences for our guests, and delivering on business performance goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee daily FOH operations, ensuring excellent service and guest satisfaction.
• Provide clear leadership to Assistant Managers and Supervisors.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance of FOH staff.
• Maintain compliance with key legislation including liquor licensing, H&S, food safety, and employment law.
• Handle escalated guest concerns and ensure issues are resolved promptly.
• Coordinate bookings, events, and set menu functions.
• Oversee ordering, monthly stocktakes, and cash handling procedures.
• Monitor KPIs such as spend per head, cost control, and online reviews – and implement strategies for improvement.

About You:

• Minimum 3 years’ hospitality experience with at least 1 year in a leadership role
• Current Manager’s Certificate under the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012
• Passionate about customer service and leading high-performing teams
• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
