We seek a dynamic and professional retail assistant to join our retail team.
You'll be responsible for driving sales through customer service and the importance of converting every customer in store, exceeding sales results through creating an exceptional customer experience.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Process sales transactions and handle cash and card payments accurately
- Maintain the store's visual merchandising and ensure the store is clean and well-stocked at all times
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
- Fostering a positive team environment
- Providing exceptional customer care maintaining customer relationships
- Effective operational management of store systems and reporting
- The opportunity to be part of a growing retail company
- Process payments via our point of sale (POS) system, cash register, and EFTPOS terminal.
Skills & Experience:
- Passion for customer service and selling
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Previous customer service experience is close to essential.
- Willingness to go the extra mile for the customer
- A good eye for detail & time management skills
- Numerical abilities and cutting accuracy
- Up selling and add on selling skills
- Point of Sale systems experience
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Prior experience in retail and/or customer service is beneficial
Key Experience
Previous customer service experience is preferred but not essential.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.50 – $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week

- 10 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability
Work Location: In person
