Job Overview:

We are seeking a personable, knowledgeable, and motivated Wine Retail Associate to join our team. This role involves helping customers find the perfect wine, managing inventory, and contributing to the daily operations of the store.

This is a full time position please do not apply if you are interested in part time.

A strong interest in wine and a desire to continue learning about it are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with wine selections, offering knowledgeable recommendations based on taste preferences, food pairings, and budgets.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the store’s wine inventory, including varietals, regions, vintages, and producers.
• Manage restocking, shelving, and organizing wine displays to ensure a clean and visually appealing store.
• Process sales through the point-of-sale system accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with receiving shipments, checking for accuracy and quality.
• Participate in in-store tastings, promotional events, and educational sessions.
• Stay informed about current wine trends, new arrivals, and seasonal offerings.

Qualifications:

• Prior retail or hospitality experience, preferably in wine, spirits, or gourmet food.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Passion for wine and a willingness to expand product knowledge.
• Certification (WSET, Court of Master Sommeliers, etc.) is a plus but not required.
