About the Role

We’re looking for a friendly, confident and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our interiors showroom team. If you love home styling, enjoy helping people, and feel at home in a beautifully designed space, this is a great opportunity to be part of a creative, fast-paced retail environment.

In this role, you’ll support customers as they explore our furniture and home décor collections — offering guidance, answering questions, and helping them find pieces that suit their style and home. An interest in interiors and an eye for detail will help you flourish in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to the showroom and provide warm, attentive service
• Support customers in choosing furniture, fabrics, colours and finishes
• Share product knowledge and inspire customers with styling suggestions
• Drive sales by understanding customer needs and recommending suitable items
• Keep the showroom beautifully presented, tidy and aligned with visual standards
• Assist with merchandising, product displays and seasonal updates
• Handle orders, quotations and general customer follow-ups
• Support the team with daily showroom tasks

Skills & Experience

• Previous retail or customer service experience
• A genuine interest in interiors, furniture, or home styling
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly
• A positive attitude, confidence, and a customer-first approach
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable using computers, POS systems, and basic digital tools (Canva or similar is a bonus)
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a supportive team
