Golden Wattle Roadhouse, a bustling petrol station and convenience store in the heart of Wudinna, SA, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to lead and grow a well-loved local business while delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and stock control.
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of staff members to achieve sales and service targets.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, including budgets, sales, and expenses.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies.
• Foster a customer-centric culture by delivering exceptional service standards.
• Develop and implement strategies to maximize store performance and profitability.
• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate deliveries to maintain stock levels.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in retail management, preferably in a convenience store or fuel station environment.
• Relevant qualifications.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data and develop actionable strategies to improve performance.
• A hands-on approach and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of retail software systems is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
